We are a young, lesbian couple just entering our thirties who have set out to explore nature in an effort to balance our lives and rejuvenate from the chaos we call life. We both have high powered jobs that demand our attention during the work – she is a CPA and I am a prosecutor. By the time the weekend hits, we are ready to ditch the work attire and go on an adventure! We take our time soaking up nature so that we may emerge better, cleaner versions of ourselves.
Like others, we also use our hikes to solve the world’s problems. One problem we both take issue with, is having to work until we are in our sixties – no, thank you! We set out on a journey to learn alternatives and live FIRE – Financially Independent and Retire Early. Our goal is to be intentional with the next 10 years of lives so that our hard earned money begins working for us instead of escaping us. We invite you to follow along and do the same – life never intended for us to “live to work,” but work, so that we may live, life!
